Fireplace

The sunny north facing home has temperature controlled heating/cooling system throughout. For the winter months there are two substantial schist clad gas fires that not only provide warmth but that wonderful ambience that cries out for a glass of something special after a day exploring the endless possibilities of the area.
Special attention has been given to sleeping comfort; feather underlay's, electric blankets, goose down pillows, mohair blankets, feather and down duvets with luxury 400 thread count cotton linen. These have been sourced wherever possible from local suppliers.

Bedroom

Two of the bedrooms open onto a sunny patio with mountain views. All rooms have wardrobes, 26"Samsung LCD TVs, full length mirrors and mood lighting to give that home away from home feeling. Robes are also provided.
Both the bathrooms and separate toilet have under floor heating. The main bathroom has a luxury double ended bath. The en-suite has a double shower and oversized towel rail. Hairdryers are provided for your convenience.

The newly fitted contempory kitchen, with oversized sink, is equipped with top of the range Bosch appliances including a six burner gas hob, large fridge/freezer with ice maker, Espresso coffee machine (with separate grinder for the coffee connoisseur) microwave and a large oven perfect for roast dinners.
Attention has been given to provide those extra things a cook may need; food processor, blender, electric frying pan, Panini toaster, electric beater, digital scales and various baking tins. There is even an extra large capacity slow cooker that can take the hassle out of the evening meal.

Riverview Retreat also provides a sound proofed enclosed washing machine and separate dryer and a large purpose- built drying room for skiing and climbing equipment.

TV and Fireplace

With the large open plan kitchen, adjacent eight seater dining table and family room with 37" Samsung LCD TV and schist fire makes an easy flow relaxed living area.
A separate more formal lounge with its 1.5metre wide grand schist fire and 50"Samsung plasma TV is perfect for those relaxed evenings. There is a large DVD library provided for your viewing pleasure.
All TV's have Sky Digital, Freeview and terrestrial channels.
An Ipod docking station is also provided.
Riverview Retreat also has its own wireless broadband network.

Outdoor flow

All living areas boast floor to ceiling windows that open onto a substantial glass faced deck with uninterrupted views of the Shotover River, Coronet Peak ski field, Crown Range and the tip of the Cadrona ski field. Perfect for checking how the snow is looking.

A BBQ and large teak dining table provides the perfect setting for outdoor entertaining.
Also on the patio is a large spa perfect for relaxing in after a day on the slopes or enjoying other activities that the Queenstown area has to offer.
